What have VoIP solutions in store for you?

How and why is VoIP solution better?? This is one of the most common questions asked when it comes to the switching from a traditional landline to internet telephones. Despite its mammoth increase in utilization VoIP communication for homes, businesses and offices; this is an idea still not fully digested by people.

Having telephones for years in our lives, virtually for over 3 generations an idea of replacing them is not thought completely comprehended. A constant fear of the unknown sets in as soon replacing traditional analogue phones comes to mind. And why should we change when they have served us for years. The technology is reliable, efficient and every passing day it evolves and provides us with a new mode (for example from copper wires, to coaxial cables and now fiber optics). With every passing day telephones get better and better and so do the facilities. By the looks of it there is no need of any internet based telephony system; then what is in this system that we should switch.

The question holds in every right and the reason of such anxiety is valid. But what features should a communication system have to be called a complete telephony.

1.     Cheap and cost effective

2.     Reliable and robust

3.     Connectivity to the maximum

4.     Clear and uninterrupted service

5.     Some thing extra in terms of features, choices

If we weigh both the PSTN telephones and the VoIP solutions something rather extra ordinary appears. In all the above mentioned areas internet telephony not just fulfills these attributes but also offers few extra bits to the users. Closer analysis reveals that voice over internet protocol telephony is far cheaper than its predecessor. It offers calling tariffs that are devised specifically keeping in mind the needs and requirements of the users. Every user whether a home phone client or a business oriented customer each is given several options to choose from; making IP phones not cheap but highly dynamic in choices. Even though land lines were considered highly reliable and robust over the time and they were to with stand all the on slough of the nature but the later has reached all the standards of its illustrious competitor.

Internet phones have become equally robust and reliable. With the evolution of technology internet phones give people the service equal to telephones itself. Also the connectivity has no longer been an issue because VoIP phones can be used anywhere as long as an internet signal is available. Having a mobile or telephone connection or not VoIP is the solution.  Despite coming down the pecking list it is rather more important than a few above it. Voice quality offered by VoIP phones is equal if not better than that of the landlines. With time internet phones have started providing high quality un-interrupted audio service to its customers.

These have all been the features that are more or less the same but the biggest differentiating factor amongst the two is the additional features that come with each internet phone service provider. VoIP solutions are mobile, agile, continuously bettering them and come packed with additional features all for free making them a service worth changing too.
